How to Connect Your Gearbubble Account With the Amazon Integration
Before You Begin Connecting GearBubble to Amazon, Please Check the Following:
1. You've Signed Up for an Amazon Pro Seller Account
Before you begin using the Amazon integration to connect your Gearbubble account, please note the following:
- You will need an Amazon Pro Seller account, aka "Amazon Professional Selling Plan", to connect to GearBubble. You cannot do this from the individual "free" plan.
You can sign up for Amazon Professional Selling Plan here.
2. Your Amazon Account is Registered in the US
- Your Amazon account MUST be registered in the US and use the US as the primary marketplace. Accounts registered in other countries may cause the integration to NOT work properly.
3. You've Applied for GTIN exemption
- Amazon mandates that products sold on its marketplace must possess a unique identifier, such as a UPC (Unique Product Code) or a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number). In the event that you develop a product lacking such an identifier, you are required to request a GTIN Exemption.
Please check out this article on how to apply for the GTIN exemption.
Once you've ensured that you're using the correct Amazon plan, your account is registered in the US and you've applied for GTIN exemption, you're ready to begin connecting your Gearbubble account with Amazon.
Step 1. Access Your "Stores" Dashboard
To begin, login to your GearBubble account to access your main Gearbubble dashboard. If you don't know how to log in to GearBubble, please check out this article.
Then, click on the "View Dropship Dashboard" link to access the dropship dashboard.

Step 2. Set Up a New Store with the Amazon Integration
To set up a new store with the Amazon integration, click on the “New store” button
Step 3. Provide Your Amazon Account Information
Click on the "Amazon" option and begin providing your Amazon account information. When providing your information, please note:
- When entering the brand name:
- If you don't have a brand registered with Amazon, the Brand name should be "Generic".
- If you have a brand registered with Amazon, and have a GTIN exemption approved for that brand, use your own brand name.
- The Primary Marketplace ID should be ATVPDKIKX0DER. This is the marketplace ID for the United States. It's important to make sure that your Amazon account was registered in the US and has US as the primary marketplace.
- When providing your address, phone number and email address, make sure that the information matches the exact information provided to your Amazon account.
Step 4. Check the box for GTIN exemption
Once you've provided your information, check the "UPC Exemption Enabled" box.
Please Note: You will need to ensure that you've applied for a GTIN exemption. To apply for a GTIN exemption on Amazon, you can follow this guide.
Step 5. Finalizing the Connection between GearBubble and Amazon
Click on Submit after you have filled in all the information and check the UPC Exemption box.
After submitting the information, the Stores page will reopen. Click on "Connect".
